ā€œTaking away iolo’s fear and making him feel better in his own body has revealed his true nature and just how intelligent his is and how quick he is at learning new skills.Callie is also excellent with me too and always makes me believe that I can do it! She has not only changed iolo’s ā€˜story’ but she has also changed mine. ā€

Meet the Trainer

Callie grew up riding (and falling off) rescue ponies, developing a keen understanding of horse body language and communication from a young age. As an adult she spent time with Tristan Tucker, learning from a master of horsemanship (TRT Method). Now she excels at creating a dialogue between her and the horse, where they feel understood and can trust her through her use of reliable communication and body language.

Callie loves to work with young horses, giving them a rounded education and setting them up for success from day one. She makes sure that the horses that train with her enjoy the process of learning, feeling confident to engage with new situations which ultimately means you have a very trainable and safe horse for the future.

As a horse trainer Callie deals with horses that are in a state of confusion, panic or shutdown on a daily basis. She works from the ground and in the saddle to help horses overcome their difficulties. Spooking, napping, bucking, biting, rearing are all behaviours she's regularly called in to address and she has countless success stories with helping these horses regain confidence and rideabilty. Callie specialises in finding a way in with challenging horses and replacing their fears with competence.

Exceptional Horse Welfare

We believe that horses should spend more time in the field than in their stable, so horses live out at Home Farm with plenty of room to graze.
